LTL Manual
LTL Manual Shipment allows users to create less-than-truckload shipments by manually entering all shipment details. Use this option when carrier rates are not fetched automatically or when working with custom carriers.
Creating an LTL Manual Shipment
1. Select Shipment Mode
On the New Shipment page, from the Shipment Mode dropdown, select LTL Manual.
2. Follow steps 2 to 7 in the LTL Auto shipment creation
3. Add Shipment Item
From the Item list, select your shipment item or click the + button to add a new item.
If the item is selected from the list, the freight class, total weight, and dimensions etc. will be auto-filled. Customize the values if required.
4. Enter Item Quantity
5. Select the unit of measure (e.g., bag, box, pieces)
Indicate if the item is Hazmat, Stackable, Perishable, and enter the temperature units
6. Click Save
The shipment summary is displayed. You can edit the details if required.
7. Add a Carrier
a) Select a carrier from the list or click the + button to add a new carrier
b) Click Save
The Carrier Added Successfully message is displayed.
8. Verify Shipment Details
Review all details to ensure they are correct.
9. Confirm Carrier Selection
Click Confirm Carrier.
The Shipment Confirmed Successfully message is displayed.
Documents like BOL etc. are auto-generated and can be downloaded anytime.
The timeline shows the timestamped log of activities happening during the shipment.
